DanaMarie's challenge this month are these lovely yellow roses with orange edges. Since I have been trying different painting techniques - lately palette knife painting - I decided to try this technique on these flowers. For better or for worse it is what it is.... but I like this technique really well, so I will continue to practice and learn what I can. Critiques welcome.I did a few Plein Air palette knife landscapes while traveling this summer. I will post a couple here.
Glad to see your entry I painted mine last night and it is now in the trash. I will try again. I do love the orange/red/yellow of the flowers and the touches of blue against the dark green. Thanks for sharing.
