This is the first of several En Plein Air paintings that I did while on a road trip in Oregon and Washington.
The colors are a tad more muted in the painting itself. More ochre than orange, but still very close.
Very nice. I like the feeling that the path is in shade and leads into a sunny clearing beyond. Very nice composition. I especially like the deep patch of shadows on the left of the path.
Hi Jean! Its good to see you posting again. This is so fresh, the path leading into the sunset and the leafy shade, clearly you're a natural at plein air painting. This is one of your best.
