Zion's Peaks

When I began to paint one of my travel photos of Zion National Park's spectacular red rock peaks,
it occurred to me that this was the perfect venue for using the DPW 'rectangular (challenge) method' to block in the rich colors.
Before I knew it the painting was finished. I am really happy with the outcome.

6"x6" acrylic on linen paper

$50.

  1. Wonderful work Jean. This style painting really works perfectly with the rock. Love the warm colors, and splashes of green at the base. Really good interpretation of the challenge.
