Dreaming Nature: Dragonfly in amber leaves.
First in a series for Leslie Saeta's
Thirty paintings in thirty days challenge.
The theme I have chosen "Dreaming Nature" was inspired
by a saying of Paul Gaugin
"Seek art in nature by dreaming in the presence of it."
The challenge to use one theme for thirty painting
is daunting to say the least.
I hope it will evolve as the month goes by,
so that the paintings don't get stale.
We shall see!

ReplyDeleteYou started off so well with 2013. 30 paintings in 30 days could have been scary for me but I am so glad you took up the challenge. Your first in the series came out so wonderful.I loved how it has an abstract feel to it.All the best!
What a marvelous theme for a series of paintings.
ReplyDeleteThis one is delightful and your use of the complimentary colors offers lots of punch!
This is so serene. I look forward to seeing your theme progress! I'm excited to see what we all end up making over the next 30 days (:
ReplyDeleteLove the color combination you did in this, and the design is so fluid. Nice work!
