I chose to paint a slice of cherry cheesecake,

one of my favorite treats.

I worked this mostly with a palette knife.

​Painted for PADT challenge from a photo provided.

 I love the pretty little stoneware bowl,

and the bright red cherries.

 The lovely purple background gives a royal air to the scene.
