Tulips on My Windowsill

 

 

​These pretty purple tulips grow on my windowsill

from forced bulbs in an oval glass vase,

they bring a bit of color and springtime into my studio.

Tulip Dance

 

 

​Painted for DPW's Rite of Spring challenge,

where the example from the host was somewhat abstracted.

 So I decided to use up my palette (from my first entry)

 and lay down the colors - this what evolved.

It was fast and kind of fun, something I might try again.
