Rest not! Life is sweeping by; go dare before you die. Something mighty and sublime, leave behind to conquer time. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
For the first leg of my yearly roadtrip, I took my granddaughter
to two places she wanted to visit:
Yellowstone (top photos) and Grand Canyon (bottom) National Parks.
These are a few photos I took of each park,
placed in a collage for ease of posting.

Will be leaving on my summer road trip tomorrow (June 17). I will keep in touch with both my blog and DPW Gallery with my phone. Paintings are still available for purchase and will be shipped to be received within a week to ten days of receipt of payment through paypal. Hope you all, artist friends and patrons, have a nice summer.
Every child loves flowers.
She will make daisy chains for her hair,
and pick dandelions and lawn daisies,
and bring her mom bouquets
gathered from where ever she found them.
When my oldest daughter was a child she loved animals. She had a white cat
that she loved very much. I am sure if the saying was popular then,
she would have said she was her Best Friend Forever.
Painted for DPW Peacock challenge
from a photo provided.
The challnge for me, was to change the background
and render the peacock in a whole new light.
