In Sept. 2012, I camped in the North Cascades NP
in Washington State, of which I took many photos.
This was painted from a picture I took of Mt. Shuksan.
For late Sept. I was amazed at how much snow there was,
not only on this mountain, but at many places in the higher elevations.
There was piles of it at Painters Point,
where I was headed when I drove by this mountain and circled a pretty little lake.
The view you see here is from the far side of the lake.
You can see the road because I removed a lot of the greenery surrounding the lake.
This is one of my most favorite places to visit.
