The Spotted Pig




















This painting was done for Bill Guffey's The Virtual Paintout challenge for September, which 'virtually' takes place on Manhattan Island, NY through Google Street Search. Took me a long time to find just the right scene (as usual), but I like the way it turned out. It was done mostly with palette knife in acrylics on 8"x10" canvas board.

    This is the neatest scene. There is so much to draw one into this and spend some time visiting all the interesting nooks and crannies. I love the attitudes of the two persons. Great composition, great subject, fantastic colors. Outstanding.
