Painted for Barb's Studio Atelier RMNP Challenge.
I love the Rocky Mt's. from Colorado to Montana, and into Canada.
They are awesome with their tall jagged peaks,
many still covered with patches of snow and glaciers all year round.
The lower elevations are often filled with evergreens
which unfortunately are being destroyed by bark beetles.
(hence the purple and orangish colors in the trees).

This is so lovely Jean,I like the blue mountains in the distance and the warm colours in the foreground.Can't they do anything about those beautiful trees?
