Frosted

The below freezing temperatures and fog have been creating
a winter wonderland of ice and frost where I live.

River Frost

The fog along the river dusts everything with frost
when the temperature drops near freezing.
The effect is that these cattails look as if they
have been dusted with powder sugar.
This painting has been entered in Dana Marie's

where the artist renders her own version
of the challenge painting.
Not a copy of it,
but what the painting may inspire.
