Pink Tulips in a Creamer

With Spring upon us and flowers filling the stores
I couldn't resist these pretty pink tulips.
I placed them in a lovely white porcelain cream pitcher.

Morning Glory

My tube of Cadmium orange was the inspiration
for this painting. It is a color I rarely use,
but decided to try out its rich vibrancy more often.
This is the second in a series of art with words
as part of the composition. (Not sure how many I will paint).
Entered this one in Dana Marie's Rendition Me This challenge
entitled "Dreams and Wishes".
The saying is a quote from Paul Gaugin. It says:
"Seek art in nature by dreaming in the presence of it."

Chickadee in Apple Tree

Much of my summer travels was in the state of Washington
where they have many apple orchards.
This painting is a homage to the many yummy apples
I sampled while motoring and painting plein air.
