Even though Oregon is known for its lush evergreen forests and
snowy Cascade peaks, and beautiful coastal mountains and
rugged beaches; it surprises many people to know
that Oregon is almost 4/5ths high desert.
A wild and lovely landscape where an abundance of wildlife roam,
from wild horses, wolves, big horn sheep, bears, and coyotes to name a few.
The brush and shrub, trees and wildflowers
come in a vast array of colors during every season.
I painted this picture from a photo I took
while traveling through this picturesque landscape.

This reminds me so much of Cezannes landscapes!! beautiful wilderness,its wonderful to see and know that there are such places still left.
